Friday, Friday!
Yay , I ordered a vintage pack online last week, that looked as though it had alot of fun clothes in it.
However buying clothes online for me doesn't always work out as I am half sizes top half is different to bottom half, plus vintage clothing is always weird in sizes as well depending on what era the clothing.
However I do love this shirt which was part of the pack :)
Getting lots of new clothes always makes me clean out my wardrobe at the moment I'm getting rid of most of work clothes that no longer fit me and driving them over to local charity that donate the clothing to under privileged women joining the workforce for the first time or people that require it for interviews, love helping out local charities :)

DAY 234 - Coffee and Cake
Date 22.06.2011
Caught up with my nan for a coffee and cake in the morning which was good, I don't see her as often as I would like but when we catch up there's always lots to talk about.
For the rest of the day it was quite got to watch some tv, clean up the house and fix up the backyard so hopefully *fingers crossed* Thuggette can't get out again.
Was the last day off I have for a month, but the next day I have off is going to be super exciting its when I start my thigh tattoos that I have been waiting a year for :) bring on the next month!!

Day 233 - Thuggette
Date 21.06.2011
Thuggette is my beautiful little girl, I love her so much but in the last 3 months she has broken out of our backyard more then 50 times and we have more then $1000 in pound fees to pay, no matter what we do she still manages to find a way out.
Today was no different. She broke through the shed window and escaped out the back gate.
Its an extremely sad situation that me and my partner are know in were we need to find her a new home, shes always been our little girl but were becoming more and more time and money poor.
This is the hardest decision we have ever had to make, and it hurts so much we always said we would never give away our dogs but the time has come and you can't always predict the future or state that you would never do something until your put in the position to do so.
I feel miserable but I'll love her forever.

Day 232 - Embracing winter
Date 20.06.2011
Best thing about winter to me is MILO and hot chocolates!
Except today, I was at work about to take my first call of the day when I went to take a sip out my cup when the lid wasn't on tightly so instead of getting a sip the whole cup of milo went all down the front of me.
It was a real mood setter haha much to say I didn't have the best day today.
The other thing I love about winter is my scarf and beanie collection for some reason I'm someone who collects things but never wears them. I have 3 bags full of scarfs and beanies I think I wear the same 2 every week. I'm the same with my bag collection I have a whole wardrobe full of bags but only use 2 a year.
So here's a photo of me wearing 12 of my fav scarfs all though in the picture it only looks like I'm wearing 6 some of them are hiding...
Apparently were suppose to get a big wind storm in Victoria tonight so hopefully everyone stays safe and its nights like these when I worry about the homeless people and animals its sad that we live in 2011 and there is still homelessness.

DAY 231 - Sweet Nothings
Date 19.06.2011
I woke up early this morning wanting to go for a walk the sun was shining thru the bed room window and although I knew it would be cold outside it looked like a nice morning.
I must of fell back to sleep because two hours later I woke up again, feeling annoyed that I had over slept in and not committed to my morning walk.
I did however get straight out of bed do some laundry and head outside to mow the lawns to make up for not going for a walk, but I still couldn't shake the feeling of being annoyed at myself and I guess even now I'm still in a low self esteem mood its hard to shake that mood on days like today.
Not to much else happened today I lost my medusa bar (upper lip piercing) down the sink when I was brushing my teeth, went to the gym but only manged to stay half an hour and walk off 500 calories.
Since then I've been home arguing with my boyfriend about sweet nothings.
I think tonight calls for a good book and hug from my beautiful DZLS (dogs) so that I wake up bright and early tomorrow and ready to seize the day :)

Day 230 - Recap
Date 18.06.2011
So first blog back after 3 months off, I'm not to sure what I'm going to do about the blogs I've missed but I'll let you know whenI figure it out, but just to recap I haven't been doing nothing over the last 3 months, and I have stuck to most of goals still.
April - Was my 25th bday and I did state that I was going to Sky dive, this did not happen not because I was to scared, although I would of been terrified it was actually because my partner and I found out that The Cure were going to be doing two there Reflection tour in Australia at the same time.
Seeing the cure is high on my bucket list and was the most amazing gig I have ever been at and well worth the money and trip.
May - Did the mothers day run with my mother along the yarra in Melbourne in a new best time :)
This month I also completed my Body For Life program I was doing at the Gym and lost 45cms plus my strength and fitness is unbelievable and I believe really helped me get my new running time.
Today was my first day back at the gym in 2 weeks as Rob and I headed off to QLD and Sydney a couple of weeks ago to get tattooed and enjoy great food and wine :) was a very busy week as we flew to sydney to see the cure then straight back to QLD to get tattooed. I finally finished my leg tattoos off after they were started 2 years ago :)
Currently listen to TOOL its been far to long,
Today I entertained myself with new make up and hair extensions :)

103 - Japan Earthquake
Date 11.03.2011
As you all know Rob and I travelled to Japan in March this year. I've always wanted to go to Japan, me and rob paid for the holiday a year in advance and spent alot of time in the months prior to the leaving for Japan marking out places on google maps of where we wanted to go and what we wanted to see and do.
Herajuku was the one place we could not wait to see or go shopping at, it is the fashion capital of Tokyo and has such an amazing feel about the place but we did not ge to enjoy as we had hoped.
We go to herajuku and went directly to the markets then off to kinji the a massive op shop store then went out to lunch before deciding to head down to Kiddyland!! a place I have wanted to go since I was 16 and seen a film of Marilyn Manson shopping there it looked so amazingly fun!
As we were walking down there it hit, the earthquake. It was the second earthquake we had been part of in the short 5 days that we had been in the country but it was definitely alot bigger then the other one.
We were about to cross the road when I felt my knees give in there were shaking crazily I could barley stand I grabbed on to Rob and said "do you feel that".. he had no idea what I was on about until I pointed at the traffic lights above us that were had started shaking around uncontrollably.
Then all of sudden out of no where down came this loud rumbling noise it was the start of all the buildings shaking and a swaying and looking closely you could see filing cabinets and tables being flung across the the rooms of the buildings in front of us. Watching a Japanes man across the road from us we could tell he was directing everyone to move into the centre of the road were we were standing to avoid and objects that may come flying out of buildings.
Its taken me so long to try to even start writting about this day because even now things remind me of that day, at work we have a train station right next to us and at 7pm most nights a train will go past which shakes our whole building I still have to grab on to my table and start looking around, its something that will always stay with me, the weird feeling of being moved by the earth and having no control.
The day only seemed to get worse as we do not speak any Japanese we did not understand what people we saying and we could not communicate with people about what we should do, we waited around for hours at a large park at the top of a hill with many people, there was constant voice overs a megaphone telling the Japanese people what to do and what was happening but of course we had no idea, sirens of ambulances and police were going past every 30 mins but we were left there wondering how long it would be until the train were back working.
The harderst thing was there was no phone signal it took me over and hour to get a msg to my mum to say were safe but by then the news had already been broadcast to Australia about the Tsunami so of course our families were worried.
Afer a few hours we could finally make phone calls to speak to our family and let them know we were safe, but we were still unsure ourselves how we were going to get back to our hotel that night, we had no maps, no Internet and it was starting to get cold and dark real quick.
It took 7 hours before we would get back to the hotel, the hotel was only 9ks away but due to there being no trains the roads were chaos.
We were so grateful to get taxi home and ther driver was so lovely he couldn't Speak English but used his ipad to translate information to us about what had happened that day, this is when we found out that there had been a 10 meter high Tsunami and that the fukashima nuclear plant had been affected.
I think we were so numb from the whole day, we realised it wasn't until 2 days later when we went to go to sleep in our own bed at home that we had time to come out of shock and realise what we had been apart of, everything was so rushed and so confusing and we really went into survival mode.
Throughout that morning there was constant after shocks and another 2 earthquakes that racked 7.5 on the scale, we knew it was time to leave Japan when our hotel told us there was no food or water and that all shops around us would be closed.
After another 6 hour taxi ride we made it to the airport and were lucky enough not to miss out flight home.
We were happy to be home, just to be able to shower and grab some food and see our families and beautiful dogs.
But we definitely miss Japan it was a great place, with beautiful people, we are already planning our next trip back there, which will hopefully be this year for new years :)
Sorry this is so late but there is just to much that happened in that one day that I can not fit into one blog.
