Date 29.12.2010
Heading to Melbourne for the next 2 days, so excited.
2 days for me is a lot of packing, I have no idea what I'm going to wear so I'll pack;
hoodie
3 pair of pants
6 dresses
2 scarfs
bathers
12 tops
a couple of belts
4 pair of shoes (plus have 2 more in the car)
thousands of hair ties,
2 shoe boxes full of make up and jewellery,
hair straightener
hair dryer
3 hair brushes
and a million other toiletries.
and this is for 2 days.. in a town 2 hours away from my house.
I have no idea how I am going to go packing for Tokyo, Japan especially when I'm going for 2 weeks.
Can't wait to finally make my first trip overseas, to a place that I have always wanted to go to.
2011 is going to be an amazing year.

Day 57 - Girly Girl
Date 27.12.2010
I enjoy a good pampering, sometimes there is nothing more relaxing then having time to yourself to really indulge in a good hair treatment, or lathering yourself in fake tan.
I love spending time painting my nails, putting on a good over night moisturising cream and sitting on the couch to flick through a great shopping magazine.
I do enjoy being a girly girl.

Day 47 - Late for a reason
Date 17.12.2010
This blog is exactly 11days Late but all for a good reason.
On Friday the 17th December it was Fete Day at work, a day were you can bring in home made goods to sell.
It was a very exciting day, I brought lots of goodies from local people all made local, things like home made Relish, goats milk soap, olive oil soap and lots of home made treats like fudge.
The reason I couldn't tell any of you about this until now was because some of it was Christmas presents for people whom may read this blog.
but all in all it was great day, and my mother and grandmother who received the gorgeous soaps on Christmas day seemed very excited by the smell and chance to use them, but may not of been so excited if they had read this first.

Day 58 - The Fashion Capital
Date 28.12.2010
Went shopping at Chadstone "The Fashion Capital" today.
Didn't find that "super dooper amazing one time only bring in the new year dress" , but I did get a few little goodies, some new make up, nail polish, jumper and a goals book.
I went out to breakfast yesterday morning with a friend who showed me her "GOAL" book.
after seeing it I had to get one for myself. its set out some what like a diary that is organised into groups of goals such as " career and fiance" or "Personal Developments" it's designed so that you write all your goals down under the headings and list in steps how you are going to achieve these goals and when.
I love it, it's going to help organise this blog for next year!
(Thanks Emily & Kade)
I also got some "conversation starter" cards, as this is something I really need to work on, especially at work, can't wait to test them out tomorrow :)

Day 56 - Activation
Date 26.12.2010
Got to play with my Oracle cards today.
My new oracle cards are "Earth Cards" so they have to do with elements, animals and anything to do with mother nature.
I randomly choose two cards and they read:
Wind (activation) and Lighting(power), was very exciting to get two element cards.
Basic meaning of both was to get outside more and enjoy nature and lighting or power had to do with making choices not based on wither they are good or bad.
Can't wait to work more with these cards the look of them is gorges.
Other then that had a really relaxing day and hang out with the family.
Tonight I've been listen to The Jezabels the song "mace spray" is a favourite.

Day 55 - Christmas
Date 25.12.2010
The big day, the one day every year that you have an excuse to eat as much food as possible with your loved ones.
The one day that you get to give people presents that you've been waiting weeks to see there faces when they open them.
I was making a home baked goods hamper for my grandparents so I spent the morning cooking banana bread, pumpkin and plain scones I also got to make my first ever batch of Shortbread.
but the day went so fast and before I knew it was over, it still did not feel like Christmas this year, even sitting at the tables surrounded with family or opening gifts it did not feel like Christmas.
Thanks to my family and Rob's for some great food and all the thoughtful gifts.

Day 54 - The day before the day
Date 24.12.2010
Twas the night before Christmas and I was getting some last minute shopping done at the supermarket.
Unfortunately Christmas just does not feel like Christmas this year and seeing the staff at Cole's packing up all the Christmas decorations and gifts just reminded me that Christmas only lasts one short day.
But I got the last of the shopping done and headed home for an early nights sleep knowing very well tomorrow will be a big day.

Day 53 - Coaching Life
Date 23.12.2010
Had a Christmas work break up dinner with Rob's work, which was interesting.
Got a to meet a guy that had just started his own business last year as a life coach.
He mentioned that living in Traralgon not many people know what a Life coach is and often think he is a personal trainer.
This did not surprise me, but I'm glad he is trying to branch out and take on a small town with a more unique style.
It was fantastic to be able to talk to someone about management and leadership styles which is something I'm very interested in, personal development fascinates me.
Random picture of me blow drying my hair.

Day 52 - Lost and found
Date 22.12.2010
Experienced the pain of loss for a split second today.
Got a call to say that Thug had been picked up, but his sister Thuggette could not be found.
My heart broke and I couldn't stop crying.
I was running around the streets in desperation calling her name, asking everyone I seen if they had seen her.
Half and hour later I received a call to say she had been found.
My tears of sadness soon turned to crys of anger.
So quick how emotions can change.
After work I was heading out to my Nan's house to celebrate Christmas with my dad's side of the family.
I have not spent a Christmas with them in alot of years and was so excited to get to see them all again.
Family is to precious to be forgotten, and time is to short to not spend time with the people we are related to.
The day went from lost to found and from sad to glad.
Below is a picture of Thuggette I don't think I let her go the whole night.

Day 50 - colour = smiles
Date 20.12.2010
I started this blog to help me find a hobby, to help me find something that's keeps me busy.
This blog is my current hobby, I love that it makes me think about everything in life that I love, or everything in life that makes me happy (because I can not be negative in this blog at all)
Things in life that make me happy are as small as a good nail polish, ridiculous I know but a great nail polish colour will keep me smiling all week.
Not so much that its the nail polish, but that its the colour.
I've always been affected by colour, always been a mood dresser.
I'm someone who wears alot of black so wearing something as subtle as nail polish or lipstick can change my whole mood for the day.
I've always been interested in the meaning of colours and how they effect people, and plan do some more study on this next year.
Same with handwriting, I'm interested in the meaning of people's handwriting but I'm not sure what its called
so I don't know where to look up any courses in it, but I love when people can tell what your about just from reading your hand writing.
( I no this photo is extremely myspace and a bit sickly but it was a bit of fun haha!! ) Just wait till I start getting my wigs and glitter out!!

Day 51 - Ink and love
Date 21.12.2010
So my one of my biggest loves is Tattoo's.
My favourite thing in the world to talk about and look at.
I was feeling a little cheeky this morning so I took a pic of my finger tattoo's which I adore I think there lots of fun.
I'm not some one who thinks that all tattoos should have a meaning, I do however think they should be well planned and thought about.
My fingers have really great meanings behind them.
They both represent my friends and remind me of great times that I have had with great people, people who I often don't get to see but now have a constant reminder of.

Day 46 - snowman on my cupcake
Date 16.12.2010
Thursday was a great day got into the festive season at work and had some lovely cupcakes made for us which tasted amazing!
I know I've mentioned many of times how much I love Christmas but this year just seems as thou so many more people seemed to be getting involved in the season which I really appreciate.
I haven't heard back from anywhere about Christmas day so It looks as though I will be spending Christmas with my family and just donating money and gifts to as many places as possible.

Day 48 - Op shops and Podcasts
Date 18.12.2010
Was very relaxing didn't have to be anywhere or do anything.
Got to spend sometime down the street just browsing at books, got myself a new set of oracle cards which I will get at Christmas extremely excited to work with them, as there earth and animal related.
Haven't had a chance to go op shopping lately which I'm missing hopefully get to head up to Melbourne early next year and make a weekend out of it.
But other then that spent the day listen to podcasts and trying to figure out what I will cook for Christmas.

Day 49 - Meat Cravings
Date 19.12.2010
Grocery shopping, I'm getting a little anxious about January and my decision to be "vegan" for a month.
Considering my main meals per day are all full of animal products, epically my favourite yogurt.
But then I think, it's only one month out of my whole life, 31 days out a my potential 30,000 days that I could live.
I was listening to the HACK podcast today and got to listen to an amazing group of food producers from South Australia.
I cant remember the name of them but they talked about loving and appreciating every bit of food wither it be animal or produce and knowing where the food has come from before eating it.
This is fantastic, there story is amazing, I have always wanted to own my vegetable and herb garden and one day will.
As for eating meat, no I don't think I will ever eat meat It's been over 5 years and although I get ridiculous cravings when ever I smell a dim sim, hot dog or chicken parama, It's not enough to make me not feel bad for taking the life a living animal more precious then myself.

Day 45 - Meditation
Date 15.12.2010
When I lived in the city in my tiny little studio apartment, I lived in a building full of 300 other people.
300 other very individual people that were all different to anyone I had ever meet coming from Traralgon.
One of the lovely people I meet was a hippy named Timmy.
Timmy believed he was an pixie in a previous life and had a room that he had covered in leaves and trees, full of pixie dolls and mystic creatures.
He was an amazing guy that I learnt so much about life from.
He dedicated his free time to working with children, wither it be children that were underprivileged or children suffering a terminal illness he was always happy to dress up in his dinosaur suit, or juggle to make them happy.
One of the greatest life lesson Timmy taught me was to mediate.
One day I was so over whelmed with emotion that he got me to sit down while he played a calming cd to me he talked about taking the time to relax and thank the world for the amazing things I got to do that day.
He taught me that even just being able to walk was some thing to be thankful for.
Today's been another one of those emotional days, I can feel that my body and mind is mentally stretched to its limits and the only way to fix this is going to be a long soothing mediation.

Day 44 - back in training.
Date 22.12.2010
Mum messaged me tonight to let me know that she has entered us into a new fun run on the 9th January.
My mum's so amazing, she is the one that started us on all the runs.
The one we are doing is called City2bay.
It's a fundraiser for children with cancer, we will be doing the 5km run along St Kilda road, there is one you can do that is 10ks from etihad stadium, maybe we will get to do that one next year.
So excited, I'm getting back into the gym tomorrow morning so hopefully I can beat my last time of 41.30.. well I thought it was 41.30 but I actually got an email the other day from the Susan's Women's fun run that stated my time was 41.10 so that's even better, Maybe even beat mum's time of 35mins... haha one day.
other then that, here's a pic of me bored before work.

Day 43 - Clouds in the sky
Date 13.12.2010
Salvation Army got back to me this morning, with the sad news that they have enough volunteers, so I won't be able to help them with Christmas this year.
But I'll try and call a few local nursing homes tomorrow and maybe I can go visit the elderly for Christmas.
My book by the Dalai lama is so hard to put down, I'm loving every word written.
The only hard thing is it makes me want to sell all my possessions and live in a temple, well maybe not the temple.
But the messages from the book are so clear and powerful and they use such great comparisons of peoples perceptions of happy, It's fantastic.
Best book I've read in a long time.

Day 42 - Pudding
Date 12.12.2010
Sunday.
I killed a bird.
it was the worst, I was driving to my mums along the back roads and I could see a little bird land on the road in front of my car, I knew it would not enough time to fly away before I hit it and I couldn't swerve to miss it.
I heard the thud of it hit the front light as it tried to fly away.
I don't know why, but I looked into the rear view of my mirror and seen it flung across the road.
I've never killed anything before. I felt terrible.
The only cure for death is pudding. chocolate pudding.
with lots of cream.

Day 40 - Innocent Bystander
Date 10.12.2010
Wow Friday went fast, just more proof that this year is just flying.
Honestly, I can't believe its already December.
The day probably went so fast because I was in meetings all day at work.
Driving home from work all I could think about was having a lovely moscato with a chef cooked meal.
Sometimes there's nothing better then treating yourself to a lovely meal at restaurant with a great bottle of wine.
The moscato I'm loving at the moment is "innocent bystander", its fantastic bright pink and full of bubbles with such a rich taste.
I'm usually a dry white kind of girl, but gosh this good.
After tea we got to catch up with Rob's parents to oorganise Christmas.
Christmas this year should be great, I'm planning on spending the lunch helping out the salvation army in Melbourne as a volunteer for one of there big Christmas lunches they put on for all the underprivileged families.
I have to call them Monday to confirm everything, super excited.
Then come home and spend the night with the families, can not wait.
Here's a photo of me in the elevator at work.
I work up stairs, one flight of stairs.
Usually I would walk but since my legs are still jelly from the Susan's women's Fun Run, the elevator has been my best friend for the week.

Day 39 - Prudence
Date 09.12.2010
Prudence is care, caution, and good judgment, as well as wisdom in looking ahead:
I've mentioned before that there is a lady at work that will often hand out daily cards with a one word on them.
All the cards are faced down in her hand you are to just randomly pick a card.
On Wednesday I got Prudence I was shocked first word that come to my head was "Prude" I scoffed and she let me choose another card, I then choose Grace.
I left the cards on my desk and didn't think anything more of it.
Today, she come around again to all the desks collected all the cards, shuffled them and placed them upside down.
Again randomly I choose a card... it read PRUDENCE, I couldn't believe it was the second day in a row I had choose the card, this must be a sign, but I again choose another card to go along with it as I was still thinking of the word Prude in the back of my mind.
The second card I picked up said "discipline"
I went straight to the dictionary which shed a little more light on the word , it put the word prudence into a more positive light for me.
The meaning "wisdom is looking ahead " stands out to me.
As you can see I brought the card home with me, obviously it wanted to spend a little time with me.
I love learning from life, I love all life's little hidden meanings and signs.
I don't know why I still doubt what life throws at me because every time I get a sign it ends up being for the right reasons.

Day 41 - Cocktails & Memories
Date 11.12.2010
Everyone needs a yard photo, one that shows your hard at work with a lawmower.
The photo captured our dogs personalities perfectly.
Thug is the white male staffy, when you mow the lawns he will just follow you around the whole time.
And Thuggette is the little brindle girl, shes extremely cheeky and will jump around and show off, she doesn't like it when you outside but not playing with her.
Saturday was a great day, theres nothing better then waking up in morning with out and alarm set, knowing that there is no reason you have to get out of bed or be anywhere.
I got to spend the night with one of my friends that I haven't seen in a loooong time, she introduced me to an amazing Thai dish that we had for dinner then spent the night sipping on cocktails and catching up on each others lives.
was another great day to add to this amazing year that I've started.
Everyone needs a yard photo, one that shows your hard at work with a lawmower.

Day 38 - Rain, Rain go away.
Date 08.12.2010
Brought a new cook book today for $5 its pretty amazing, the first page I opened up to was pumpkin pie, which I've always wanted to make so I'm pretty keen to get stuck into a new recipe this weekend, maybe the mushroom and pine nut lasagna, I'll let you know how it goes.
Today was a fairly reclusive day all I wanted to do was keep my mind busy so I got stuck into some fashion magazines and lived the luxurious life of millionaire for a couple of hours.
Got to catch up with my little brother and sister for a second birthday tea for my brother as my sister had to miss out on the one on Tuesday night.
It rained all day. Heavily.

Day 37 - The act of giving
Date 07.12.2010
Terrible Tuesdays were back in full force today. I woke up still sore from Sunday and was feeling extremely run down that by the time I got to work I was all wound up I just wanted to go home.
After being 5 mins at work I realised I hadn't been paid for the overtime I had done, the week before.
the words "right before Christmas " come to mind, I was so annoyed.
I sat there thinking I just want to go home, I'm never going to make it through today.
then I seen that I had my new book order in, sitting on my desk, was a set of Buddhist Prayer cards instantly I calmed down.
Just holding the cards made me relaxed and realise it's just another day and that nothing is that bad after all I will still have enough money to pay all my bills and live for the fortnight.
From then on the day just seemed to get better the team I'm in at work decided for Kris Kringle this year at work we would donate food and toys to the salvation army for underprivileged families.
with all our donations were able to make 5 hampers baskets up for 5 different families.
It was the best thing we could of done, we all walked out of the room and put the hampers under the wish trees with the biggest smiles on our faces, knowing that our money and gifts were going to well needed families.
After work it was off to tea with my family to celebrate my brothers 11th birthday.
What a great day after all.
Sometimes you just need to take the time to relax, stop and think about what you have.
Nothing is as bad as it seems.

Day 36 - Recovery
Date 06.12.2010
Wow after feeling fine all day Sunday, I did not think I would wake up on Monday not being able to move,
every part of me hurt especially my knees and shins.
But worst of all I was dehydrated and had to spend the day drinking water to get rid of my headache.
Other then that it was a fairly relaxed Monday I spent the day on the couch listen to Dig Radio, writing blogs and finishing off my book.

Day 35 - Susan's Womens Fun Run
Date 05.12.2010
The day started at 5am, by 6am I was in the car with my mum and off to Melbourne for the Susan's Women's Fun Run, the event we were doing was the 5km run down st kilda road.
I started off the morning listening to some blissful radiohead I love them so much there music just takes me away to a different place everytime I listen to it.
Before I knew it we were at the beach, singing in, getting our t-shirts and timers.
I was a little nervous how I would go on the run, because I haven't been able to train since I hurt my thigh muscle about a month ago.
But as soon as we were off adrenaline took over and before I knew it I was at the 2km mark, I wouldn't say I was running more like a very slow jog but I was able to run the first 2 ks then I walked 1k then run the other 2, I remember thinking towards then end, how far you can really push yourself when you have thousands of other people around you cheering you on.
It was a great feeling to get to the finish line and feel like you could of done a few more k's.
I finished the run in 41.30 which is good I had a goal at the start that I wanted to finish under 42mins so atleast I did that.
To top the morning off we got to eat breakfast at the republica on St Kilda beach, the breakfast was Delicious.
The photo below is of me after I finished he run :)

Day 34 - Turn up your stereo
Date 4.12.2010
A few days ago I decided that I would head off to Seterosonic with my brother and sister.
Our family events are always good fun, and I hadn't been to a dance event with either of them for a long time.
Stereosonic is like a big day out for the dance industry, it was at the showgrounds at Flemmington, Melbourne.
I had a really good time relaxing in the sun with the music, can't believe none of us got sunburnt it was so hot.
but after being there for few hours I was very buggered and new I had to get home before my big 5k run the next day.
I'm glad I ended up going, this blog is suppose to be about me taking up new adventures and experiences so I can tick that off the list.
But it was great to get home to my house and just relax with some good food and my own bed.
The picture is of my at stereo, I'm obsessed with tye dye at the moment.

Day 33 - Value
Date 03.12.2010
So lucky that once a month I get Friday's off, it's a great start to the weekend.
I woke up to the most beautiful morning sun was shinning first time in awhile, so I was lucky enough to be able to spend most of the afternoon outside drinking peppermint tea and shopping with Mitchell (older brother), We even hit up the gym for lovely morning session of cardio and weights.
But by 4.30pm me and my little brother Harrison were heading over to Morwell when we were stuck in a insane hail storm for a good 10 mins before we could see clearly enough to start driving again.
My how the weather in Victoria can turn so fast, but it was a good opportunity to get to spend some more time with my brother we went back home at ate garlic bread and talked about the value house property's ..
(I forget my little brother is only 10, when I was 10 I had no idea the value of money let alone, house value)
He advised me that what I paid for my house was a good price for the size, sometimes I get lost in conversation with my brother so much so that I forget he's so young.

Day 32 - The art of happiness
Date 02.12.2010
My big bro come down from Queensland today to spend the next week in Traralgon.
I was pretty excited all day, so it just flew past.
Me and Mitchell (my brother) ended up down at aura cafe getting some Vanilla Lattes and I had a couple of mascoto's that were going down a little to nicely for a Thursday night.
He seemed really well so I was happy that I would get to see him for the next week.
When I was 20 I was living in Melbourne in a studio apartment on flinders st, this room was tiny it had a bed a couch a tv, a small kitchenette and bathroom.
Perfect for one person, myself.
Until my brother rocked up one day and said he would be staying for a week... well 5 months later and my darling brother was still living there on the couch in this tiny apartment.
I guess from then on we've always been a little closer we had some great times in that tiny apartment in the middle of city with all the great people we meet and all the random adventures we went on.
It's probably why everytime I catch up with him I'm either excited or nervous for what the day will behold.
Well it's a new month so time to read a new book, The book I've chosen is "The art of happiness" by the Dalai Lama, a book my brother gave me to a over a year ago, and since this blog is about him, I'll give it a go.
This picture is of my beautiful book case, I love this book case and all the memories its filled with.

Day 31 - Summmmmmer
Date 1.12.2010
Summer. You wouldn't know it, I thought I was going mad being stuck in the house during winter I'm going even madder now its been 7 months of nothing but cold winds and rain.
I hope it ends soon, weather like this can really have an impact on your mood.
But other then that its the start of a new busy busy month.
Also one of my favourite times of the year, I'm extremely traditional when it comes to Christmas and today's the day where I get to put up the Christmas tree, hang out the decorations and my favourite thing of all start the advent calender YAY!
Love love love everything about December and April such good times for our family.
December we all get to catch up for my little brothers birthday and Christmas and in April its Easter and a few of our birthdays!
Nothing better then getting to spend time with all the family.
It also brings on such great childhood memories at my grandparents house in tyres... where it was always so festive big meals, lots of people and brandy custard with Christmas pudding, and of course pa dressed as Santa.
I can't wait to have my own family one day and be able to go through all the fun and excitement of it all again.
I ate the freddo from today with a warm piece of ravioli pasta and oh my god it was amazing, is there some amazing restaurant somewhere that sells chocolate pasta? I have to go there!

Day 30 - 30 Days down
Date 30.11.2010
I worked for 12 hours today so I found it fitting to take a photo of myself at work, as there wasn't enough time for much else.
30 Days down, with only 335 more days to go, this year is going to go so fast.
The end of one whole month.
So0o0o this month I have learnt how to make new food, caught up with my crystal skills, listened to some new music, helped out a with relay for life, Christmas child and donated money to a few different charities around the town.
I keen for more to happen in December. I have my 5k run this weekend and a few other weekends in Melbourne hanging with some old mates so it should be really good, and will probably go as fast as this month...Then it will be time for new years.
Can't wait.

Day 29 - Two hearts in 3/4 time.
Date 29.11.2010
Had a beautiful first hour at work where our phone system wasn't working so I was able to put my headphones in and listen to my new avalanches cd ... The music made me want to be in the astra with the top down on a warm summer day heading along a windy road it's such relaxing music, didn't have to think about anything my mind just wondered... extremly peaceful.
Set a good mood for the day, because the rest of the day just flew by and before I knew it was home from the gym eating a beautiful fresh mango.
Great day.

Day 25 - Appreicate what you got
Date 25.11.2010.
From the littlest things like your favourite tv shows, to the bigger things like the most important people in your life, the people that make it easy for you to get up in the morning and smile throughout the day.
I had a great day today, Michael and Jessie won Beauty and the Geek, Rob's surgery went well, and I got some good news from work.
Life really does have the days where everything just works, everything goes right.
Today was one of those days.
Again I didn't get a chance to take a photo today.
This photos is from a couple of weeks ago before we start renovations on the main bedroom.
I think the smile is fitting.

Day 24 - Spacey
Date 24.11.2010
Wednesday, pretty spacey day, not much happened. Felt pretty ill so spent the night in bed after work getting my snooze on.
Got to have a good play with my camera and found a few awesome functions like fish eye... which I tried to find again last night..but have no idea where I found it to start off with.
so because my last few blogs have been pretty full on, I'll leave this one short and sweet and let the picture explain how I felt.

Day 26 - One of those days
Date 26.11.2010.
You know when you just have one of those days, where everything goes wrong.
And your so frustrated and angry that nothing is going right that you end up just laughing about it the next day, well this was one of those days.
I couldn't sleep I knew Rob was in the hospital by himself after surgery so I felt terrible.
I woke up at 5am and couldn't get back to sleep, I should of gone to the gym and did something that may of started that day off better, instead I lay in bed with my evil mind putting thoughts into my head, before I feel back to sleep and had terrible dreams.
I woke back up again around 8 and had lots to do... I start cleaning the house and new I had to be out at the hospital at 10am to see Rob.
I started doing the dishes around 9.30 and was in such a daze I walked off why the sink was still filling with water.. so by the time I come back into the kitchen it was flooded, there was water everywhere all over the floor, and over all the benches.
So not only did I no have to clean all the water up I still had a list of things to do around the house before I got rob.
I go out to see Rob about 10.20am and he was doing good so the nurse and doctor said he could leave at 11.00.
I went to move the car out the front of the hospital to pick him up, but the car wouldn't start, and it was starting to rain I walked back to the hospital where he was waiting at reception.
I called his dad and asked if he could help start the car because the battery was dead.
After 20 mins his dad arrived.
The first this his dad said was " Are you sure the car is in Park" ...hmmm I said.."yeh of course it is"
It wasn't.
once we arrived at the car it was in Reverse... I couldn't believe that I didn't check that.
I had to walk back into the hospital to Rob he had been sitting waiting to tell him that the car was fine.
a few more Little things went wrong that day, Like I went to get waxed but the wax wouldn't work with the strips so after having the wax on my skin we couldn't get it off and I had to spend more time at the beauty therapist and couldn't get everything done that I wanted.
So after everything by 6pm I was feeling pretty sick from stress and frustration, I gave my Flo rider tickets away as the thought of going out that night frustrated me more.
I didn't end up taking a photo today. The thought didn't even get a chance to cross my mind.
So I'll upload a photo I took at the start of the week.

Day 27 - When time pays off.
Date 27.11.2010
So much to do!
From when I woke up, till when I went to sleep it was go go go.
The morning started at about 9am with me doing a grocery shop, then headed home.
Cleaned the house.
Had a moment to relax and paint my nails and fake tan before my sister and little bro arrived with a showbag for me from the Traralgon Show, so exciting!! lots of candy and a water pistol!
Then off to the hair dressers to get to my hair done in preparation for tonight, which was the End of year party for work.
As I'm part of the social club I spent some of the afternoon helping everyone set up the Room for the night we hung records from the roof, set up tables and put posters on the walls.
Then it was time to have a quick 30 min power nap, then I started on my make up before Kelly dropped past for a quick drink, then down we headed.
The night seemed to go extremely well, really good food, music and people... surprisingly enough I found myself on the dance floor have a great time.
It was also so lovely to have people coming up and saying they were having a good time, it was the biggest night social club has put on in the last 3 years and I'm so happy it went well.
I was home early enough not to feel to sick today, which is a bonus.
(unfortunately I didn't get to dress up as Joan from Mad Men as the thought of wearing a wig, and thick material dress in muggy hot weather was not appealing)
But here's me and a fan.. as it was super hot there.
So much to do!

Day 28 - Defeat
Date 28.11.2010
Never thought it would be this hard to keep up with my 365 days.
Writing a blog and taking a photo everyday is something that can take sometime, and when you don't have time is hard.
Its now been 5 days since I've updated my blog this is by far the longest period of time and will never happen again because trying to remember what I did Wednesday is hard.
So time to admit some sort of defeat and figure out another way, a smarter way to keep on top and still be able to maintain my to do list for this life project.
Part 1 - Admitting Defeat-
1. I haven't kept up with cooking my one new thing per week.
2. I haven't drove black Benny atleast 2 hours a week.
3. I Haven't brought a new cd yet this month or evaluated the music.
Part 2 - The fix
So to fix this I think I need more reasonable goals.
1. Cooking new meals will now be once every 2 weeks.
2. Black Benny will be atleast one drive 5 days of the month.
3. New cd is downloading... now - Avalanches - Since I left you, I will report back on this album before Tuesday night .
So where to go from here, continue to stay positive and enthusiastic about what needs to happen this year.
Put more focus on me and the blog for next month, and prepare; pre planning is the only way this is going to work.

Day 23 - The Sunny side of Life
Date 23.11.2010
There's no better feeling there driving around listen to your favourtie song.
The one and only time I've ever got a speeding fine was from driving & playing a song I loved so loud, singing and dancing that I didn't notice the speed limit...or the cop car driving behind me.
I didn't get a speeding fine today, but I did enjoy my drive to work, with the beautiful sun shining down on me the whole way.
No to much to report from this Tuesday other then the lovely 5 min drive I had to work.
I worked, slept and worked on my fitness.
Just greatful for the good weather we had for the day, even though for the rest of this week its forcast to be showers and low temps.

Day 22 - The speed of time
Date 22.11.2010
Pretty tiresome day, after all the festive's on Sunday and having to get up at 4.45am by the time it hit 11.00pm I was buggered and in bed.
Monday's usually fly by for me and before you no it I'm home relaxing, but not today. I spent most of the time staring at the clock, thinking "will it ever end"
Motto: when you don't think about time, it doesn't exist.
I've only got one more week to go until December, it's been a super fast month, I cant believe that its almost Christmas, almost the end of the year almost my little brothers 11th birthday.
This year has flown by. The reason I started this blog was because I got 6 months into this year and all I could remember was sitting on the couch watching tv, I couldn't remember taking the time to visit my friends, travel or even just go for a walk with me dogs.
So even though this blog is going to be very much about the big things in my life like taking time to travel and face fears, it also has to be a motivator for me to just msg friends, catch up with people and live everyday like there is no other.

Day 21 - Dessert
Day 21.11.2010
Worked, yep 6 hours on a Sunday, But it was a nice day not many calls, had time to read the latest in gossip magazines.
Really need to get some new tattoo and home magazine a little bit more interesting to look at then pictures of Kim Kardashin.
Sunday night I got to have a BBQ which was fantastic, with lots of dessert, and by lots I mean 2 slices of chocolate cake and 1 slice of cheesecake, which I'm feeling the weight gain of this week.
The new gym in Traralgon just opened up which everyone is talking about, I will spend a minimum of 2 hours a day there this week so I can fit into my ever amazing Joan Holloway dress for this weekends work party,
Plus the sauna at the gym is amazing.
So apologies in advance if my blog is not updated regularly this week, I have lots coming up :)
This picture is of me a little bit confused as to why this massive Christmas decoration is on the side of the street, how did it get there? and will it last long on the street in Traralgon.. I don't think so.

Day 20 - Operation Christmas Child
Date 20.11.2010
http://www.samaritanspurse.org.au/
Operation Christmas child is organised by Samaritan's Purpose who donate time in helping families in over 130 countries in Australia by having people donate shoe boxes filled with presents.
This morning me and my little brother spent time shopping for presents for children from overseas, such a good feeling knowing that you will be able to put a smile on the face of child for Christmas that you will never know, or ever meet.
Together me and my mother were able to fill 5 shoe boxes for 5 different girls and boys from the other side of the world.
Couldn't appreciate organisations like this one anymore with there selfless and thoughtful acts.
I can't wait for the day that I sponsor a child and am able to go overseas and meet them, there family and community.

Day 19 - Little Bro
Date 19.11.2010
Got to spend quality time with my little brother today.
A promise I have made to myself is to try and spend more time with the family wherever possible, I made this promise to myself when I moved back to Traralgon but it never lasted.
Especially with my little brother I only see him maybe once a week for 5-10 mins, its not good enough, he should be a huge part in my life, he's 11 years old in 17 days and played wii
its so much fun hanging out with him because you can be a kid again, something you really loose when you have to be an adult everyday in a professional work place.
So we hung out and played wii, it was my first ever time at wii so he was smashing me, but atleast he was trying to teach me how to play games, until we battled then he was serious.
Then we ate chocolate sundae from Mcdonald's (I think I've eaten a sundae every night this week), watched some UFC and went to bed.
Best night I've had in a long time.
The photo is off me I half feel asleep on the couch then remembered I had to take a daily photo.
The camera light hurt my eyes.

Day 18 - Perseverance
Day 18
I got given a small daily word card at work today, it said on it Perseverance, I looked at it oddly and said the word out like, I had know idea what it meant, the girl who gave me the card looked back at me and said it means " cease the day"
I don't think I did that at all today, I should of but instead today seemed to go on forever and ever. Time was ticking slower then a watch with no battery.
I filled my day in by looking for hotels in melbourne to spend my new years. I'm not someone who has ever been big on new years in fact its a time of year when my anxiety goes thru the roof, lots of people in a hurry to get somewhere with lots of noise.
But I read one of my old blogs from 2007 (http://www.myspace.com/anti_oracle/blog/330563639) Where I wrote about how I believed in the saying " that what ever your doing when its hits the new year, is how you'll spend you year"
The more I think back over the last few new years I believe it.
And in the near future I want to move back to Melbourne, so hopefully this is a good omen to help me get back there.

Day 17 - Welcome Sun
Day 17
I'm keen for things to start happening but unfortunately traveling and fighting my fears will not be until early next year.
For the rest of this year I just plan on sticking to my weekly and monthly tasks, and with Christmas coming up I should be able to help with some hampers for overseas children and hopefully be able to help out with some local ones, I have to get in touch with St Vinnies or Salvation army.
Went Christmas shopping today, really need to stop finding presents for myself when I'm trying to buy for everyone else... haha but it always feels the best when you find something that you love and can't wait to give to someone else.
Dropped some bags of clothes and shoes off to the op shop today, usually when I do this I end up going inside and buying heaps of stuff which defeats the purpose, but today I didn't find anything.
As its Oz music month I really need to find some oz music to listen to, I stopped past sanity but didn't find any randoms cds that popped out at me, think I will go with super wild horses, see how I go.
The weather was amazing today, I really enjoyed just sitting in the sun.

Day 16 - 'ol Janome
Day 16
Tuesday's are usually my most hated day, I usually cringe at waking up in the morning and the thought of getting out of bed gives me a headache.
For some reason something always happens on a Tuesday wither it be spilling a whole container of sugar on the floor, waking up late, getting parking fines or just hurting myself clumsily on something so obvious.
Something always happens on Tuesdays.
Well atleast it use too, I don't want to jinx myself but I realised today I haven't had a bad Tuesday in the last couple of weeks and today was no different.
I woke up, got to work on time with make up on and all.
Then the day went extremely fast and before I knew it was lunch time and I was making a salad roll for myself to raise money for Diabetes Awarness (our work is really good with raising money for charity :) )
After work I was on a mission to mums to pick up my new sewing machine, 'ol Janome.
Janome isn't that new in fact she has been in the family for quite awhile, but she will be a good machine for me to take up my latest attempt to learn something new.. I haven't set a time frame for me to have learnt how sew as of yet. The goal I am setting is that I have to sew myself a wearable dress by next year sometime.
The photo for today is me and my new janome, I'm abit confused as the sewing machine keeps turning it self on and the needle is going extremely fast with out me doing anything.. so I will be calling in the professionals(nanna) tomorrow to give me helping hand.

Day 15 - Renovations
Monday.
After walking half of my 5.5ks my upper thigh started to hurt real bad, to the point were I could no longer put pressure on my right leg.
This is not a good outcome with only 3 weeks till the big Breast Cancer awareness run in Melbourne.
Today was a fairly busy with not much action, I tried to re organise my house as we currently have the bed in the lounge room while the main bedroom is under renovation.
The floorboards were finished last week so we may as well do the room up while everything is out.
Which means everything like clothes from the wardrobes, bags , shoes were all in the lounge room.
I'm some one who cant stand clutter so went a bit of a mission last night to clear as much of it as possible.
Picture below shows me in the empty bedroom -start of renovations.

Day 14 - Music of course.
Day 14
Attempted to drive manual again today, unsuccessfully..well sort of.
I took it out by myself and was doing fairly well until I stalled, then I cracked it and took it home.
Really need to work on my patience.
Spent today around the house cleaning up the yard, cooking a roast and putting on fake eye lashes.
I'm trying to perfect putting on fake lashes, going alright so far this shouldn't take as long as learning to drive black benny thats for sure.
I still need to find a cd to buy this month that will expand my musical mind, if you have any suggestions let me know otherwise I will spend next weekend walking around leading edge until I randomly choose a cd.
Tonights photo shows off my manly side, oh to be a boy.

Day 13 - Relay For Life
Day 13
So this morning I got up early to go op shopping, this is usually my favourite thing to do on Saturday morning if I'm not working.
I'm loving the new vintage op shop we have in Traralgon at the moment so beautiful, I got a lovely 50's style pencil skirt and a few records including grease, dirty dancing and footloose for the end of year party for work :) so excited because they totally suit our theme!!
Relay for Life tonight was held out the Churchill football oval, it's were for 24 hours a team of people must be walking around the oval at all times.
So mother and I headed out there tonight to help out my mate Steph and her friends for a couple of hours.
Me and mum walked from 8.30 till 9.45, it was raining the whole time but extremely easy to do with umbrellas, it wasn't cold and I could of stayed out there walking round the oval talking with my mother for probably a few more hours.
We've decided we will start our own team next year and get out there for the whole time it was such a fun experience for a great cause.
Can't wait to get back there next year.
The photo below is me about to leave I'm up on the stairs so hopefully you can see all the tents below of everyone camping on the oval and the people just walking around the oval with there umbrellas and relay sticks :)

Day 12 - View at the Winery
Day 12
Friday! so exciting today was very busy, worked all day then at night we had a work dinner break up, which was out at Brandy Creek Winery out towards Drouin east.
The view from the winery was amazing, we spent the night eating gorges food that was Brazilian theme.
There was about 5 different types of meat that they would cut up onto your plate.
This of course did not interest me as I am vegetarian but I had a beautiful tapis to choose from and ordered a bit to much as I could finish it all (prob because I wanted to save room for desert )
Before I left home to catch the bus to the winery I made the decision not to take my camera, I will never do that again as I could of taken some beautiful photos.
as the night went on the view got even more amazing at about 8pm a the clouds seem to get darker and darker as the storm clouds rolled in and then the there was a beautiful lighitng show before the rain started.
The photo below was taken on my iphone so not as good quality as if it was taken on my camera.
but it sort of shows the storm clouds starting to come over.

Day 11 - Remembrance Day
Day 11
Remembrance day! one minute of silence is hard in a call centre, but we got through it, its a very powerful thing , silence.
Tonight I stopped past and old school friends house, she was having a garage sale to raise money for Relay for Life which is a organisation that raises money for cancer. http://relayforlife.org.au/
I got to talking to Steph and found out she had a team oorganised for a local Relay for life event that I could be apart of, so this Saturday night I will be helping out. :) I will update more after the event on Saturday night.
I brought a book from the garage sale which will be my book to read next month its called "The Bride Stripped Bare" I know I've seen it around alot not sure what its about but will find out next month.
it is pictured below.

Day 10 - Support Vic SES
Day 10
So sorry I haven't updated my blog in 3 days, I will not let this happen again.
Wednesday was a good day, it was my day off! I got to hang out with my sister and searched all of Morwell for something orange to that I could wear to show my support for Victorian SES.
No luck though, until I got home and found Rob and an awesome Orange T-shirt.. as seen in Picture below :)
I had a bit or time Wednesday where I could of been doing things like reading my book by Tom Harley, I've realised it's so hard to get back into reading after not reading any books for the last few years, in high school i loved books and would read religiously, I have to get back to this stage, so maybe I can start reading more then one book per month.
