Today is a big day for me. I had to organise for works social club and event for the local horse racers.
As I have spent the last 3 months orgainising this event I would hope that it went really well.
The event meant a number of people from work would be attending, the person I was going there with was a girl I new from high school but was never close friends with.
Faith would have it that she turns out to be the perfect person to go with as she undestands alot of things I'm going thru]ough and has been on a journey of her own so was able to give helpful hints to me.
So after getting our first drink and toasting to the next 365 days, a lady come up to me and asked me to join the local Roller Derby, I declined straight away being afraid to loose all my teeth or be constantly bruised.
for the rest of the day it keept playing on my mind.
Finally before I left I seen the lady again so I went up to her and said I would love to come watch them and got the date and time. The reason I did this is because I am on this journey to do things I would not normaly do, I have to try new things espically when there offered to me.
This was also a really good day for me because I was hanging around alot of people I've never talked to before, meeting new people making new friends, i'm so glad that everyhing is going so right only after just 2 days.
this is a better then sign then yesterdays.
the photo below is me dressed up for the racers, i think the smile on my face shows a shy and awkward girl that feels like she back in highschool again heading off to an event with a bunch a people she doesnt know but it extremly excited for everything to go well (and i'm deff not normally a shy girl haha. )
