WOW that was the most amazing, beautiful, picturesque run I have ever been on.
It started with 1 k run around the outside of the zoo then it headed inside the zoo so I got to pass all the beautiful animals.
I stopped running as soon as I seen the gorillas, they were standing so still looking at me through the glass, looking confused as to why I would be in there home at this time of night.
Then I walked past all the cheeky little monkeys which would come flying up to the glass to inquisitively, I almost ran over some kind of bird that ran out in front of me with no warning.
And before I knew it 2ks was up and I was passing the very serious lions and on my way out to run the last kilometer to the finish.
So as you would imagine as I stopped to chat to all the animals I did not beat my normal running time, infact it took me 40 mins to do 4 ks when It normally takes me the same time to do 5.
but it was the most beautiful run I have ever experienced and I can not wait to do it again next year, although next year I will remember to take my camera with me :)
After the run me and Rob were off to St Kilda to see Die Antwoord a South African hip hop group that I was to keen on seeing but Rob certainly was.
But after the first song I was mesmerised I couldn't take my eyes off them, as the crowd was jumping around singing and dancing I was standing there and starring, it was a great show.
